Hi all, me again! Long version is I tried to fit some new brake pads, one pin wouldn't move, then it really would not move, then I had to take the caliper off, cut the pin in two, break the bits of pin out the middle and hammer the remnants out.. While I have the brake system in bits I thought it may be a good idea to refresh the calipers. One pad is noticeably more worn than all the rest, the pistons are difficult to push back in, and these brakes need all the help they can get!
Short version: Want to fit new seals to the front calipers, Motorworks are cheapest out of the big three retailers in the UK at £15 per caliper kit, but as usual you can get bits for Guzzis slightly cheaper at £13.50 a set (bottom of page). Can anyone beat that on price? There are a few Ducati places as well but I can't believe they're worth trawling through for lower prices..
