Hi all, just another silly question...

After riding the new (to us) 1995 K75RT I found the switches/levers at an uncomfortable angle. Comparing to the 1990 (old blue) I saw I needed to rotate the assy...

Crazy thing, there are slotted screws, phillips screws & hex, WTF?

Managed to get LH loose & rotated, but can't figure out RH - making me look dumb in front of lovely wife Joanie.. not good

I know you people have the secret - give it up please

A #2 Phillips head screw holds the switch block to the right throttle/brake(bottom edge of the switch block).  Remove the switch block, don't lose the screw.  You will see a hex head at the lower edge of the throttle, loosen this and rotate the throttle/brake

Actually, less so now. I still drop the little buggers, but now they fall on nice smooth concrete where they find it harder to hide than in the gravel driveway... life is improving

Yep, there was that hex cap screw (4mm) hiding there...

While all was open, sprayed some contact cleaner on the start/kill switch - just because I could...

I also change my lever angles, like the levers to be positioned where my hand just rests on them.

While you are at the levers on the left clutch lever you can see the nipple from the top.....Lubricate that so it rotates freely within the lever. I give it a drop of 3in1 every week just because its stored beside the bike! WD40 will do fine too. If not you will start to feel a slight notchy action as it slips. Then it stops slipping and bends the clutch cable out of the nipple........you pull out your spare clutch cable and that's when you discover the nipple is gone and the new one doesn't come with a nipple.
