After seeing (one that becomes later) mine 1988 K100RS ABS I end up being a fan of it. 33 years old bike still standing in its wheels. I believe it deserve a new life. So I decided to bring it into 21-st century.

Thanks for your thoughts guys.

Chocolate you may want to delay your trip till late July or August if you want some rides to remember.

Actually this is an advice and invitation for anyone that can ride to Romania. There are lots of places to go but it is easier to find some if google for Transalpina or Transfagarasan.

Well Bonzo.. that is debatable.
For some it might be a sacrilege what I'll do to it.
However for me honoring an well made bike is to have it desirable after near 40 years since model release. Having it developed in a natural way for today demands and taste is the way I took.
So it will be naked with engine discrete tuned, modern exhaust brakes and suspension including paralever system and adjustable dampers. Off course all over a complete bike rebuild and ceramic coating.
If some new RNineT owners gets jealous it means that I did a good job.

Nice to meet you Arlina!

My project delayed due to modern threats.
Now I can tell that I made some tests with new configuration. Bike is awesome. I asked myself yesterday why do they spend 20.000 on a Superduke 1290 evo?
Ok, now .. The configuration.. WP PRO adjustable USD fork, ohlins racing in the back, 8 piston 8 pads brembo calipers on 320mm floating superbike disks, radial brake pump, paralever rear end. All those sourced cheap from racing / crashed bikes with heavy time spent on checking and rebuilding. It is a recipe that I use, more money on tools less on bikes. Off course that means a lot of reading, documentation finding proper machining shop, trial and errors.
I end up with this smile that I have on my face.
Off course that I'll answer to all questions if any inspired by all of this.
Now I still have to erase the shame off my face when people wave at me riding and I know that the bike is still ugly since I have it not finished from aesthetic pint of view.
