Hello,
After30 years not having a street ride (whole family road off-road bikes) my wife wanted to get a Harley (kids all grown up). Not wanting to drag her on the back I got her a classic (with voyager kit) and I found an old 1987 BMW K100RT for myself. The last ride I had was a 1971 Honda CB750 and have never had or road a BMW. Long story short; 2 months and 8,000 miles later My little k bike is the bomb.
One small confession to make is that I did find the lean angle at the cost of an engine guard (left side), wind screen, and exhaust shield as well as a dent in my pride on a down hill off camber left at deals gap TN. The bike can be repaired but it will take time (and some riding lessons) for my pride to heal.

PS, Do you think the brands will brake up our mirage?
