This is a K75GSA being built by a bloke in the UK.

He is using KTM USD forks, custom shock, lengthened swing arm, modified subframe, custom 30L tank, R1200GS wheels, etc etc

He also has a custom set of alloy panniers that click/slot onto the subframe. Then, integrated into the pannier mounts is a 10L alloy aux fuel tank on one side, and a 10L stainless water tank on the other

And this beast is powered by a GSX1400 by the same fabrication bloke...

Ive never seen a vehicle like that 1400 quad....that would be soooo much fun....

Now imagine it with 'leaning steering' like those mp3 scooters.

Looked into doing a gs style on my k75 but it's too sweet as a road bike I couldn't bring myself to do it ,went with a k1100 gearbox and paralever rear end and wheel with k1100 throttle bodies and k1200 injectors to bring out the mid range I just love it. Brought a big red pig (Honda xr650r) which I'm setting up for adventure touring the k would have been too heavy no matter what I did to it, I can pickup a fully loaded xr under 200 kilos loaded.  You have to unload, pickup a k then strap everything on again, no fun in the simpson desert. I wouldn't mind some of this guys fabrication skills though that's one slick job and the k75 does make a great gs style tourer , just not suited to the sort of trips I'm planning. Cheers AB

Which K1200 injectors?  Do you have a Bosch part number for them?

Makes you feel a bit inadequate looking at the work he has done.
Haven't done much with my K100 project over the summer but love to see other people's ideas and try to think how I could make it work.
I'm thinking something on the lines of a 'funduro'. Bit like a GS!
Not many deserts around here but some fun roads.
Having a 1200GS in the same shed means I can measure and get an idea of how well parts might fit or be adapted.
As an example, the GS footrests look like they would be a straight swap. The GS bars would take K100 controls but need different clamps.
Intend using a 1200GS silencer. They're not that restrictive without the 'cat' or valve and cheap to buy on eBay.
Love to know how easy it was to fit the spoked wheels but they're not cheap to buy, even used.
