Guys - Tackler has run into a starter motor problem in the Mountains. Bearing is giving out and the starter is knackered. he can bump start it which isn't a problem in the mountains I guess. 

Are there any forum members in the area that have a spare - (We will replace it) and could help get it to him or let him swing by to collect it?

Hi All, 

Currently in Lucern, Switzerland attending to some more maintenance issues. 

Some outstanding help has been provided by Georg of the flyingbrick.de international Kommunity.  This was followed up by the assistance from the same group by Rene and Ronnie in Lucern.  The old girl is waiting for the fuel tank repair to cure, then I should be right to go again. 

More details when I am home but the oustanding support initiated by Will and then provided by German speaking members is nothing short of exceptional for our little Kommunity. Without them I would probably be walking home.  

Many thanks are owed by me and I hope to return their generosity one day.  If you want to see some serious K pox, then this is the place.

I'm sure that brick riders the world over are very helpful folk and it is wonderful to see you found a few in your time of need. Enjoy the rest of your adventure there.

just an update from flying brick

for you information dave is on the road again
since 2 hours. After additional repairs here in lucerne......
Now he have in his luggage some nice pictures from the old town and the lion monument

well done to those guys ...super work and support !!

Yes.  Ralf also has his foot in a moonboot.  No more riding for a while.
